Ghana Skate Welcomes New Director of Communications for World Skate Africa
Ghana Skate is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Johnson Kwaku Gameli Kportufe as the new Director of the Communications Department of World Skate Africa. This decision was made by the President of World Skate Africa, pursuant to the Statutes of World Skate and the Ordinary and Elective Congress of World Skate held in Rome, Italy on September 7th, 2024.
As Director of Communications, Mr. Kportufe will play a crucial role in promoting the mission and values of World Skate Africa, while fostering greater collaboration and communication among member nations. His expertise and experience will be invaluable in enhancing the visibility and impact of skateboarding across the African continent.
In addition to his new role, Mr. Kportufe has also been appointed as a member of the Executive Committee of World Skate Africa, effective immediately. His missions and responsibilities will be guided by the Statutes of World Skate.
Ghana Skate congratulates Mr. Kportufe on his appointment and looks forward to working closely with him to promote the growth and development of roller sports, in particular, the ones that fall within remits of world skate, in Ghana and across Africa.
Mr. Kportufe, fluent in both the French and English languages is properly positioned to make a huge impact in the communications department of the World Skate, Africa. According to the President of World Skate, Africa, his appointment is a significant milestone for the Federation in Africa, and they look forward to working with him to promote the growth and development of of the disciplines on the continent.
